Easy & Fast Desserts

backyard party

Don’t feel like spending time in the kitchen but want to make something delicious, cute and preferably fast and easy? {my mantra for cooking} Hello, this is for you!

I invited a couple of blogger gals over for wine and dessert in my backyard because I love -summer-so-freaking-much! Well that, and I like to meet new people and I also like to drink wine and eat cookies. I wanted it to be cute because: girls. { That is actually the best reason to have over the ladies, because you can make it cute. I mean I live with 3 men. There is nothing “cute” going on over here.}

Did I stress, you ask? No, no, I didn’t stress, even though I was leaving at 5:30 am the next morning for the airport and blogger girls were coming to my house and blogger girls have a reputation for everything being perfect and stylish! So I eased my stress by making  2 desserts which included a total of 7 ingredients! Yee Haw

This is how I threw together a cute, easy backyard get together:

Store bought flowers, in a Ball jar of course.

Bottled water, the kind in a glass bottle, just looks fancier. I’m into fancy.

Real glassware, real plates and cloth napkins. Just because you’re outside does not mean you have to use paper plates and solo cups, unless your  guests are rowdy cavemen, then don’t. {p.s. my dessert plates that I never get to use, have fashion girls on them and they’re from a Nordstrom fashion show I went to about 10 years ago!}

Great wine of course, no skimping on the best part. {BY.OTT Rose’ on the table}

I also had a bowl of  gourmet potato chips and mixed nuts {to cut the sweet}.

Candles and globe string lights.
