Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

peanut butter chocolate chip cookies

On Sunday afternoon I was totally craving fresh baked cookies. Usually, like every single time I bake, I make the predictable Toll House chocolate chip cookies. I was rooting around in the kitchen and KN asked me what I was up to. Very cordially, after I said “making cookies”….. he suggested I make something different this time.

In order to make something different than the norm, different ingredients are most likely needed. (I was no way -no how going to the grocery store!) But not with these little gems. This stuff you have on hand, like peanut butter.

This recipe only dirties up one bowl and there are only 5 ingredients. (Also, if you’re short on flour it doesn’t matter because you don’t need it.) I think these are the best Sunday cookies because the last thing you want to do on a Sunday is make a mess or have to concentrate on a recipe.

Just to let you know, KN approved and crept into the kitchen to sneak them all afternoon!

Serve with cold milk or black coffee. YUM!
